Sometimes you really want a cigar, but don’t have an hour or two to smoke one. With a bigger cigar, sometimes the flavor and power of it do not start right away, and a smaller cigar sometimes doesn’t always feel like it came into it’s own. Thus the Nub was created. It’s a short cigar that is supposed to start off with full flavor and power and have a wonderful finish. This is my first time trying any of these cigars out, and I was looking forward to trying this cigar out.
This cigar does start off flavorful and with some power. There are initial flavors of cedar and a spicy, peppery taste. It also has hints of coffee and a pleasant earthiness to it. Don’t let the size fool you, this is a powerful cigar with great flavor right at the beginning and doesn’t let up until you put it down. Honestly, I’ll be looking forward to smoking more of these in the future. Have you tried any of the Nub lines, let me know what you think in the comments below.
