Today’s smoke review comes from La Flor Dominicana. This cigar brand has been around some time and I’ve been smoking them for years. Over the years they have added different lines of cigars, and each one is better then the next. Today’s review is the Ligero Oscuro Natural L-500 (60 x 5 3/4).
It’s a big cigar that is dark and oily. This cigar had a diverse network of flavor and aroma, from oak and cedar, to tea, hazelnut and wild berries. The Oscuro Naural isn’t as strong as the maduro, but don’t let the natural in the name fool you, it is a medium to full bodied smoke. When getting ready smoke this one, be ready for more than what it looks like. I enjoyed this cigar, but was a bit fooled by the presentation in the natural wrapper. Next time I’m looking for something stronger to smoke, this will be my go to cigar. If you have smoked one, let me know what you think.
